Cessna Aircraft Company delivered 1,274 aircraft in 2007 - including first deliveries of four models: the newly acquired (from Columbia Aircraft) Cessna 350 and 400 single-engine pistons, the all-new Citation Mustang entry level jet and the upgraded Citation Encore+ business jet. During the year, Cessna delivered 387 business jets, 80 turboprops and 807 piston aircraft.

|Lufthansa to open all-premium Dubai route with PrivatAir BBJ|
Lufthansa is to open a new all-premium Boeing Business Jet service between Munich and Dubai in May in partnership with Swiss-based business aircraft operator PrivatAir. Lufthansa uses an Airbus A340-300 on the route but its schedule shows it will switch this to a Boeing 737-700, operated by another carrier, from 1 May.
|Gulfstream Booming, Still Looking at Supersonics|
Gulfstream says it´s getting ready to move on to the next phase of testing for its sonic boom-suppressing technology. As AVweb reported last year, the company successfully tested a 24-foot retractable nose boom that all but eliminates the shockwaves that create the big (and illegal over the U.S.) noise.
